Bricklayers masterpieces - these trowels incorporate the following characteristics:
FORGED STEEL The blade and shank are forged from a single piece of uniquely formulated carbon steel for extra toughness. Forging also assures product consistency.
HEAT TEMPERED Blades are heat tempered with a special time-tested process to ensure uniform blade hardness.
FLEXIBILITY W. Rose features a tapered ground blade for flexibility. Blades are made available in standard or limber weights as desired by the mason.
HAND POLISHED Each blade is carefully hand-polished to keep mortar centred on the blade and resist sliding.
STRENGTH The forged steel blade and shank offer strength and integrity with no internal voids created by welding pieces together. Forged steel will not weaken or crack underuse or impact as welded tools may.
SHANK ANGLE The angle of the standard shank is specially balanced to reduce wrist fatigue. Many of our popular trowel patterns are also available in low lift shanks as some masons may prefer.
HANDLE STYLES Four styles of handles are available on most W. Rose trowels - ProForm soft grip, leather, two sizes of wood and plastic. All handles are specifically contoured for a comfortable grip. Replacement handles are also available.
INSPECTION Every trowel is inspected visually by experienced workers, keeping in mind the high-quality standards of the W. Rose legacy. They are also tested for blade hardness and size consistency.
I ordered the trowel after borrowing a W.Rose trowel for a week. When the trowel came it was very light and flexible in comparison. I voiced my concerns about it and they sent a whole new trowel for no extra charge. New trowel was much sturdier and had the weight to cut with ease. In the end very happy.
Love the size of the blade but handle needs more lift for the size of blade and maybe 1/2 inch shorter
Good trowel, feels better quality than a marshall town so far
The blade was to flexible ,I’ve always had rose trowels and all the blades have been strong and last for me,this flexibility in this blade won’t withstand much cutting, anyway a mistake made by me.
Worst trowel I've ever brought absolute rubbish, w rose have gone to shit
